Social media was shocked at midnight when Dhallywood's famous heroine Pori Moni hinted at separation from her husband, Sariful Razz. Pori Moni left Razz's house with her son Rajya, and told local media that she plans to send a divorce letter to Razz soon.

The actress posted a status where she claimed that she is giving Razz a break from their marriage and that, she cannot deal with the toxic relationship anymore. While many celebrities told the actress to calm down, controversial author Taslima Nasrin posted a Facebook status comparing her life with the actress.

"Pori Moni's life is very much like my own. Both of us have fallen in love and got our hearts broken by our soulmates. It's like this repetitive cycle that we can't let go of. We are honest, simple, and sensitive human beings and so we become prone to such a toxic cycle," the post read.

"Pori Moni is a powerful, strong, and independent woman. She can live all by herself with her head held high just like mine. We don't need a man's love, all we need to do is love ourselves. As girls, our biggest weakness is that we can't love ourselves," the post concluded.

Pori Moni and Razz secretly tied the knot on October 17, 2021. The couple organised a big wedding reception on January 22, 2022, with their close friends and family. They were blessed with their first son, Rajya, on August 10.
