"Citadel's" trailer was released this week and fans were impressed with the stunning visuals and the glamorous star casts in the project. Priyanka Chopra made a powerful impact as Nadia Sinh whose memory gets erased and Mason Kane (Madden) attempts to explain to Nadia Sinh (Priyanka) her history as a spy and all the missions she has handled in her career in the one-and-a-half minute clip.

During an interview with Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke at the Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) 2023, Priyanka revealed that she received equal pay for the first time in her career on Citadel.

"I've been in the entertainment industry for 22 years and have worked on nearly 70 features and two TV shows. But when I did Citadel, I had pay parity for the first time in my career. I am laughing, but it's kind of crazy," said the actress.

"I put in the same amount of investment and work, but I get paid much less," the actor continued. "But when Amazon Studios said, that's what you deserve, you are co-leads, that's just fair, I was like, You're right, it's fair," added the actress.

"Citadel" will be available on Prime Video on April 28. Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, and Ashleigh Cummings also appear in the series.
