‘Priyotoma’ sells tickets worth Tk 25 crore by the end of third week

Shakib Khan starrer "Priyotoma", directed by Himel Ashraf, has collected Tk 25 crores in ticket sales at the end of this week. The news was confirmed by its production company Versatile Media, to The Daily Star.

After earning Tk 10 crore 30 lakhs and Tk 8 crore 55 lakhs respectively in the first and second week of release, the movie has so far sold tickets worth Tk 5 crore 75 lakhs at the end of the third week of its release.

On the 23rd day of the release of "Priyotoma", director Himel Ashraf told The Daily Star about the ticket sales of the third week of the movie, 'Even in the fourth week of release, the movie is being screened in up to 63 theaters in the country."

The film was initially released in 109 halls across the country on June 29.

The script of the film has been written by Faruk Hossain, while the screenplay has been jointly done by Faruk Hossain and Himel Ashraf. The film also stars Idhika Paul, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Lutfor Rahman George, Don, and Elina Shammi, among others.
