Official poster for ‘Operation Sundarban’ unveiled

Today, the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Welfare Co-operative Society Limited unveiled the official poster of Dipankar Dipon's much-anticipated film "Operation Sundarban". A special press conference took place at the Rab media centre in Karwan Bazar, to brief the media about the film.

"Operation Sundarban" is conceptualised and implemented by Rab's Legal and Media Wing. The film revolves around the success story of the operation by Rab forces to make the Sundarbans pirate-free. The film stars Siam Ahmed, Nusraat Faria, Ziaul Roshan, Riaz, Darshana Banik, Taskin Rahman, and Manoj Pramanik.

Eminent actor and Member of Parliament, Asaduzzaman Noor was present as the Chief guest at the programme. Also present at the event were Rab's Legal and Media wing Director, Commander Khandaker Al Moin; RAB officers, and film artistes, among others.

"Operation Sundarban" released its first song "E Mon Bhije Jay", sung by Bappa Mazumder, on September 3. The movie has a total of five songs which were voiced by Bappa Mazumder, Partha Barua, Pantha Kanai, Habib Wahid, Imran, Kona, Mizan, and Nandita.

Earlier on, the trailer of the movie was unveiled at a grand event in Cox's bazar. The filmmakers have created an elaborate plan to promote their films, including promotions in schools, colleges, and radio programmes.

First song from 'Operation Sundarban' to release today

A special programme called "Operation Sundarban: The Making", which highlights 25 behind the scene stories is being aired on Radio Foorti from September 4 onwards.  The elite forces of Rab have also planned to write books surrounding the story.

"Operation Sundarban" will hit theatres on September 23.
