Rakhi Sawant off to perform Umrah
Rakhi Sawant, who recently made headlines for her controversial divorce with Adil Khan Durrani, revealed that she is heading towards Umrah.
This came as a surprise to her fans as she previously claimed to the media that Adil had forced her to accept Islam.

In a viral video, Rakhi was seen draped in a hijab and asking her fans to pray for her journey towards Makkah. The actress revealed she wanted to go to Umrah as she received a divine calling in her sleep.
"I am going to Umrah for the very first time. I have been called. I received a calling from Allah.I am extremely happy. Please keep me in your prayers. I will pray for everyone," said Rakhi in the video.
Upon the video's release by paparazzi page Viralbhayani, netizens started to slam the actress as they felt she was mocking the religion.
"Without Mahroom (Father/18+Brother/Husband/18+Son), she can't travel Umrah or Hajj. She has probably gone somewhere else pretending to do Umrah," commented a person.
Meanwhile, another person wrote, "Earlier on, you said Adil forcefully converted you to become Muslim. And now you are going to Umrah. What in the world are you doing."
"After committing more than 1000 sins, you will perform Umrah! This is a complete mockery of the religion, and I can't believe people are letting her do that," stated another netizen.
Rakhi went to Mahim Dargah to seek blessings the day before she went for Umrah.
"These people (ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani and friend Rajshree) have surrounded me with their mountain of lies. I've come here to find tranquility. I have faith in Allah and believe my prayers will be heard," Rakhi told local media.
Rakhi and Adil married in 2022. After converting to Islam, she changed her name to Fatima. Earlier this week, Rakhi claimed that Adil tried to hit her and kill her on various occasions. She has filed for divorce citing domestic abuse and sexual harassment. She also claimed he mismanaged her funds.
