Renowned writer-director Mohon Khan on life-support
Popular writer and director Mohon Khan is currently on life support. The renowned television persona was taken to Dhaka's Evercare Hospital earlier today.
Ahsan Habib Nasim, the president of the Actors' Equity Bangladesh, confirmed the news to The Daily Star.
Ahsan Habib Nasim said, "Mohon Khan is our beloved writer and director. I hope everyone will pray for his quick recovery. May the Almighty quickly return him to being healthy."
"Mohon Khan was diagnosed with a brain tumour a few days back. He was swiftly admitted to the hospital and underwent a major operation," added Nasim. "The operation was successful. However, after returning home, he stumbled on the floor and was injured. After this, he fell ill and was put on life support today."
Over his long career, Mohon Khan has directed over 500 tele-fictions and written around 200 of them. BTV's popular drama, "Titir o Shankhachil", was written by him.
