Sallha Khanam Nadia honoured with National Youth Icon of Bangladesh Award 2022

Recently, actress Sallha Khanam Nadia was honoured with the 'National Youth Icon of Bangladesh Award 2022'. The seventh instalment of the International Business Genius Bangladesh was organised by FoHTEM (Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management), in association with Bangladesh Debate Warriors.

Every year, students of United International University (UIU) participate in the competition, where they share their star-up business ideas, which they then promote through campaigns.

"I am happy and honoured to receive this award," shared Nadia. "Rafsan the ChotoBhai and I were handed the crest, as we were present at the event to boost the morale of the participants."

Nadia also shared that she herself was an entrepreneur, as she owns a restaurant. However, after suffering from losses for seven months, she was forced to close down her restaurant just two months before the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The artiste shared her experience as an entrepreneur with the participants of the competition.

"Shooting for long hours and maintaining the business simultaneously was not possible, but I want to revive my restaurant sometime in the future," added Nadia. Currently, the actress runs an online business, in partnership with her mother.

"I was also able to share my entrepreneurship experience with the students at the event," concluded Nadia.

At present, the actress has been keeping herself busy with shootings for music videos and television projects. Apart from television, she was also seen in Chorki's web-series "Redrum". Nadia will appear in the Tollywood film, "Sunetra Sundaram", directed by Shiv Ram Sharma. Shooting for the part of the film, which takes place in Bangladesh has not been completed as of yet.
