Salman beat me and said only men were allowed to cheat: Somy Ali
Former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, who worked in films like "Yaar Gaddar" and "Chupp", is quite famous for bashing her ex-beau, Salman Khan on social media. The actress confessed that she had no qualms about having affairs while dating the "Dabangg" star as he apparently had his fair share of 'affairs' and 'flings'.
"The eight years spent with him were the worst years of my existence. In addition to tonnes of affairs and flings, he would constantly belittle me by calling me ugly, stupid, and dumb. Not a day went by that he wouldn't make me feel worthless and small," the post read.
Somy Ali accused Salman Khan of not acknowledging him as his girlfriend in public for many years and insulting her in front of his friends.
"I have no qualms in saying that given his treatment of me, I chose to have affairs, which are essentially defined as a search for someone who would care for me and love me."
The actress also accused Salman Khan of woman–beating and misogyny.
"When Salman learned of these affairs, he had the guts to beat me, saying that only men can cheat, not women. I was aghast at that statement and the sexism that reeked from it. Let's not forget that just because Salman or anyone else is nice to you, they are the same as others. I had it the worst in terms of verbal, sexual, and physical abuse," the post concluded.
Earlier on, the actress posted domestic violence accusations against Salman Khan but deleted them soon after. The actress stated that as the executive director of an NGO, it didn't suit her to write a profane post about her estranged lover.
