San Diego Comic-Con unveils ‘The Boys’ Season 5 teaser

Fans of the cult superhero satire "The Boys" were treated to a surprise sneak peek of its highly anticipated fifth and final season during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The exclusive teaser trailer was unveiled at Ballroom 20, leaving attendees buzzing with excitement.
The teaser—screened only for those present—was packed with the show's signature superhero carnage, blood, and twisted humour. It also offered the first glimpse of Jared Padalecki, who joins the cast this season, and the return of fan-favourite Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy.
The footage was shared immediately following the "Gen V" Season 2 panel, which teased crossover moments explaining the fate of major characters like Hughie, MM, Frenchie, and Kimiko—last seen captured by Homelander's elite squad in "The Boys" Season 4 finale.
While the teaser remains unreleased online, fans flooded social media with enthusiastic reactions. One user wrote, "I want to see so bad," while another pleaded, "Show us!" A third asked, "Will this ever be shown outside of SDCC? If so,? I need to see this."
Based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, "The Boys" was developed by Eric Kripke and will conclude with its fifth season in 2026. Production is being handled by Sony Pictures Television alongside Point Grey Pictures, Original Film, Kripke Enterprises, Kickstart Entertainment, and KFL Nightsky Productions.
The returning cast includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jensen Ackles, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and more, promising an epic and explosive final chapter.
