Dhaka Capitals achieved a resounding victory against Durbar Rajshahi yesterday duroing one of the ongoing BPL matches, following a series of losses. The team, represented by superstar Shakib Khan, achieved a groundbreaking feat by scoring an unprecedented 254 runs in their T20 history.

Speaking from Mumbai, Shakib Khan shared with The Daily Star, "If I were in the country, I would have definitely gone to the field to celebrate this victory with our players. The way Dhaka Capitals started playing initially, followed by the performance in the last two matches has been completely different." 

"Dhaka Capitals' win, I believe, will set a record. If everyone maintains this performance and momentum in the upcoming matches, the team will become champions. This is my first direct involvement with the BPL, and I've learned a lot from this experience, which is likely to be valuable in the future."

Shakib Khan’s ‘Dorod’ to premiere on OTT ahead of Indian release

Shakib Khan's upcoming film "Borbaad", slated for release on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, is currently being shot in Mumbai. The actor watched the match online from his filming location. 

Shakib further shared, "I followed the match online from here, but when the score surpassed 200, our company's (Remark-Harlan) chairman enthusiastically shared the game from his TV screen via a video call."
