Shakib Khan has returned to Dhaka this afternoon, after completing the shooting of the second shooting phase of "Borbaad" in Mumbai. 

The actor spent more than two weeks filming for the upcoming release, which is scheduled for this Eid.

"The expectations surrounding 'Borbaad'—I believe they will be met. This is a high-budget film, and the audience is in for something great," the actor commented about the film.

Directed by Mehedi Hassan Hridoy, "Borbaad" sparked discussions when its motion poster was released last December. The first look showed Shakib Khan in a new avatar—seated in front of a luxurious Rolls-Royce in action mode, a gun in his hand, with blood scattered around. 

The film stars Kolkata actress Idhika Paul alongside Shakib Khan, with Nusrat Jahan from Kolkata also making an appearance in an item song.
