Sridevi’s biography to launch soon, Boney calls her a ‘force of nature’

The iconic performer appeared in more than 300 films in the following languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi during the course of her five-decade career. In 1978, she made her Bollywood debut in the lead role of "Solva Sawan." Sridevi, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 54, received a number of honors, including the Padma Shri, National Film Award, and Filmfare awards.

 

By the end of this year, the veteran actress's biography, "The Life of a Legend" will be released. Her spouse, film producer Boney Kapoor, announced the upcoming book launch on social media.

The Life of a Legend, penned by author Dhiraj Kumar, is reportedly going to be released by Westland Books. The book provides a thorough look at the life of the legendary actress who dominated the silver screen in the 1980s and 1990s.

Boney Kapoor referred to Sridevi as a "force of nature" when talking about the book.

"Sridevi was a natural force. She was happiest when she engaged her fans in a live performance of her art, but she was also a fiercely private individual. She saw Dhiraj Kumar as a member of her family. He is a columnist, writer, and researcher. We are pleased that he is creating a book that honors her exceptional life," said the late actor's spouse, filmmaker Boney Kapoor.
