SRK's 'Pathaan' leaks online
Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Pathaan"—which saw its theatrical release on January 25—may have leaked online. According to a Times of India report, the film is now available on torrent sites like Tamilrockers, Filmyzilla, and Filmy4wap. The available pirated downloads claim to be 'camrip' and 'pre-DVD rip' versions.
With 5.56 lakh tickets sold, "Pathaan" has already surpassed the advance booking sales record set by "KGF: Chapter 2", which was around 5.15 lakh. "Baahubali: The Conclusion", which sold 6.50 lakh advance tickets, tops the list.
"Pathaan" has sparked a lot of curiosity and interest because of King Khan's star power. With this action-thriller film, SRK returns to the big screen after a 5-year hiatus. He was most recently seen in "Zero," a 2018 film
Yash Raj Films (YRF), in a Twitter post, has now urged fans to fight piracy and watch the film in theaters.
"All set for the biggest action spectacle? A humble request to everyone to refrain from recording any videos, sharing them online and giving out any spoilers. Experience 'Pathaan' only in cinemas," the tweet read.
YRF's official Twitter account also shared a video of the film's female lead, Deepika Padukone, pleading with fans to "stop piracy" and refrain from sharing spoilers.
"Pathaan" is a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe, featuring some of the biggest stars. The film stars John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana, in pivotal roles.
