"Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" has remained in the hearts of fans even a quarter-century after its premiere. Yesterday, the makers of this timeless classic organised a special screening for fans in Mumbai to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

The film's main actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, as well as director Karan Johar, graced the screening location last night, bringing excitement to the audience. The trio talked about their favourite memories associated with the film and extended gratitude to the cast and crew members who were unable to attend.

In one of the videos that emerged from the screening, Shah Rukh is seen thanking the whole cast and crew of the film when a fan points out that he forgot to acknowledge Salman Khan, who made a cameo appearance in the film.

Salman Khan played the ideal fiance, Aman Mehra, in the film who was madly in love with Anjali.

In his characteristically witty humour, SRK replied "He'll arrive after the interval; my speech didn't happen until the interval. I'm listing them in chronological order. When Rani emerges as a ghost, I'll mention her." The crowd erupted in laughter and cheers in reaction to his response.

"Yes, and Salman bhai, and Rani who came back as a ghost at the end again, and the little kids in the film who were so lovely," added the actor in his trademark wit.

Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol played the key roles in the film. Unfortunately, Kajol, who plays Anjali, was unable to attend the screening. "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" was released in theatres on October 16, 1998, to critical acclaim and commercial success.
