His film "Bildakini", directed by Fazlul Kabir Tuhin, is set for release in cinemas, while his new OTT project, Vicky Zahed's "Ondhokarer Gaan", premieres tomorrow on Binge. Additionally, another film, "Chokkor 302" has recently received its censor certificate.
Speaking to The Daily Star about "Bildakini", the "Mohanagar "star shared, "The narrative is truly remarkable for this film – you'll need to watch it to truly experience what I'm talking about."
"Just as the story is exceptional, so is the character of Manik Majhi. It offered me a great opportunity to perform. The character's depth and diversity truly drew me in, and I poured my heart into the performance," said Mosharraf Karim.
The actor further reflected, "I don't work just to entertain, I also feel a sense of social responsibility. This has always been my philosophy."
Karim shares a long-standing bond with director Fazlul Kabir Tuhin, whom he has known since 1991. "We've spent years together, performing in stage plays. He's a talented individual who acts, sings, and composes music alongside directing," he shared. "I've worked under his direction before, and though he was abroad for a while, I'm eager to see more of his work."
In "Bildakini", Indian actress Parno Mittra plays a significant role. On her performance, Mosharraf remarked, "Parno is a skilled actress, and it's commendable how quickly she mastered the regional dialect."
When asked about the immense love he receives from fans, the actor concluded, "It's a recognition of my work. It never gets tiring when people appreciate your hard work."
