Jaaz Multimedia released their film "Jinn 3' exclusively at Star Cineplex, a decision that owner Abdul Aziz described as part of their business strategy. It was initially stated that if the film performed well at the multiplex, it would later be released more widely. However, just 12 days after its debut, Star Cineplex removed "Jinn 3" from its screens, and the film is no longer being shown in any theatres across the country.

Abdul Aziz, who is also the producer of the Eid release "Jinn 3", mentioned that although they had the option to release the film in around seven single-screen theatres amid the current shortage of cinema halls, they chose not to proceed with such a limited rollout.

Unlike previous Jaaz Multimedia productions that were released in multiple theatres, "Jinn 3" was made available exclusively in multiplexes this time. Aziz maintained that this approach would not result in any financial loss.

At the time, he stated, "We're not interested in releasing the film in just a few single-screen halls. If we can, we'll expand to more single screens after Eid; if not, we won't. Either way, it won't affect our business."

Shajal Noor and Nusraat Faria star in the lead roles of "Jinn 3". Prior to the film's release, one of its songs, "Konna"—written by Robiul Islam and voiced by Kona and Imran—has been much loved by the audiences.

Meanwhile, sources from Star Cineplex told Prothom Alo that "Jinn 3" struggled commercially after its release. Although the management decided to keep the film running for two weeks, audience turnout remained low throughout that period. Due to the continued lack of interest, the film was eventually removed from their lineup.

Following the removal of "Jinn 3", Star Cineplex increased showtimes for other Eid releases. Currently, the film with the highest number of screenings at Star Cineplex is Mehedi Hassan Hridoy's "Borbaad", starring Shakib Khan; followed by Shihab Shaheen's "Daagi"; M Raahim's "Jongli"; and Saraf Ahmed's "Chokkor 302", respectively.
