During the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays this year, local cinema halls across the country have been witnessing a growing interest from moviegoers. Tickets for several films have already sold out in advance, and for some projects, it has become nearly impossible to secure a seat. The excitement among the audience is palpable, prompting many stars to visit cinemas themselves to experience the reception of their films firsthand.

Just as they dedicated time to pre-release promotions, stars are now continuing their engagement by appearing at various theatres to witness the love and reactions of their fans up close. From the day of Eid itself, actors have been attending screenings of their films — a trend that is expected to continue for several more days.

One of Eid's releases is "Daagi", starring Afran Nisho in the leading role of Nishan, directed by Shihab Shaheen. Audiences have received the film well. Today, Nisho, accompanied by his team, visited a cinema in the capital — not his first visit over the past few days.

The film's lead actress, Tama Mirza, also visited multiple halls to observe how audiences are responding to "Daagi". "I've been to several cinema halls. It's all about witnessing the love and emotions of the viewers — I'm truly overwhelmed," she shared.

The Siam Ahmed starrer film "Jongli" was also released this Eid. Like his fellow stars, Siam has been visiting cinemas since the film's release. He even set a quirky record — attending a screening of "Jongli" wearing a lungi.

The popular Dhallywood actor has continued his visits to multiple venues. "Going to cinemas after a film's release isn't new in our industry. But during Eid releases, this tradition becomes more prominent," said Siam. "Every time I've visited a hall, the audience response has been heartening."

Actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi, who also stars in "Jongli", shared that she too visited cinemas to follow her film's reception. "There was a noticeable crowd during Eid — and that's a very good sign for our film industry," she noted.

Actress Bubly has also been making rounds in support of her latest release "Jongli" to connect directly with audiences at theatres.

Veteran actor Shahiduzzaman Selim appears in two Eid releases — "Borbaad" and "Daagi". "Films are made for the audience. The more people flock to our theatres, the stronger our industry will become. That's why we, as artistes, go to check on how things are going. I view this as a very positive development," he said.

Rashed Mamun Apu appears in "Jongli", and like many actors eager to connect with their audience, he also made his way to the cinemas. Watching viewers flock to the theatres brought him immense joy. "There's something truly special about hopping from hall to hall during Eid—it's a different kind of thrill," he shared.

Meanwhile, "Chokkor 302", starring the ever-popular Mosharraf Karim, was also released on Eid day. Though he couldn't visit many cinemas due to undergoing a recent foot surgery, he did manage to attend a screening to experience the audience's response. "Some of this Eid's films have really struck a chord with the audience. That's a great sign," he remarked, noting the energy he witnessed in person.

Actor Sajal, whose movie "Jinn 3" was yet another Eid release, didn't miss out on the experience either. On Eid day and the days that followed, he visited cinemas to gauge audience reactions. "This tradition of visiting the theatres is truly delightful," he said. "I've joined in, and it feels wonderful."
