Sushant Singh Rajput's father approaches Delhi High Court over ‘Nyay’ telecast
Krishna Kishore Singh, the father of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has taken legal action by approaching the Delhi High Court regarding the previous court ruling that declined to halt the further broadcasting of the movie "Nyay: The Justice," purportedly inspired by his son's life.
Earlier this year, a single-judge bench of the Delhi High Court rejected the request for an injunction against the online streaming of the film centred around the life of the deceased actor. The application was lodged within the context of his lawsuit against the film's producers and director.
In its ruling, the court stated that seeking an injunction at this juncture would be impractical, especially given that the movie has already been released on a digital platform and has likely been viewed by a substantial number of individuals.
Krishna Kishore Singh had previously contended that the film violated the rights associated with Sushant Singh Rajput's persona.
The 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14, 2020.
