Triptii Dimri has outshined some of Bollywood's biggest icons to secure the title of IMDb's Most Popular Indian Star of 2024. Surpassing popular stars like Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, and Alia Bhatt, Triptii has claimed the coveted top spot. The actress believes that she was able to achieve it due to the unwavering support and love of her audience.

On Thursday, IMDb unveiled its list of the Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2024, based on the page views of over 250 million monthly visitors to the platform worldwide.

Triptii Dimri, who rose to fame with her standout performance in the Ranbir Kapoor-led "Animal," claimed the No. 1 position on the list, emerging as the most popular Indian star of the year. In 2024, she captivated audiences with her performances in three films: "Bad Newz," "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video," and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3."

Triptii expressed her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support throughout her acting journey. "Being ranked No. 1 on this list is truly an incredible honor," she shared in a statement. "This recognition reflects the amazing support of my fans and the dedication of everyone I've had the privilege to work with." 

Reflecting on her year, she added, "From working on exciting projects to concluding 2024 with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,' it has been an unforgettable journey. I'm excited about the future and eager to continue contributing to this inspiring industry."

Actor Deepika Padukone, who embraced motherhood this year, claimed the 2nd spot on the list, followed by Ishaan Khatter.

On the work front, Deepika had three major releases this year: "Fighter," "Kalki 2898 AD," and "Singham Again." In "Kalki 2898 AD," she made her debut in Telugu cinema, marking another big achievement in her career. Meanwhile, Ishaan broadened his fan base with his role in his second international TV series, "The Perfect Couple," where he starred alongside Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, and Eve Hewson.
