Veteran actress Nuton could not secure tickets for ‘Hawa’
Veteran actress Nuton, of "Ora 11 Jon" fame, was eagerly awaiting the release of "Hawa", and hoped to procure tickets for the first show of the film. However, the National Award-winning actress failed to secure any tickets, despite calling several cinema halls.
The actress told The Daily Star, "Chanchal Chowdhury is one of my favourite actors. I wanted to watch 'Hawa' on the day of its release, however, all of the tickets are sold out."
The actress also shared that she is not disappointed by this situation, rather, she is happy to see the revival of the film industry, and that people are now going to theatres to watch "Hawa". "The way 'Hawa', 'Poran' and 'Din- The Day' have created a stir amongst the audience is a positive sign for the industry," added Nuton.
Nuton, who has worked in over 300 hundred films, has numerous commercially successful films under her belt.
"During our time, tickets for our movies were sold in the black market," said the actress. "I hope, the good days of cinema will return very soon. I don't think the days are far away, as we can already see the hype amongst the people over films like these."
The actress also shared that she will go watch "Hawa" as soon as she is able to get tickets, and that she has so far loved the songs from the film.
