Vicky Zahed triumphs as Best Director in film, ‘Redrum’ wins Best Film award

The acclaimed director, Vicky Zahed, emerged as a shining star at the Blender's Choice-The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2022, as he clinched the Best Director in Film award in the popular category. He received the award for his riveting thriller web-series, "Redrum". Adding to the triumph, the production also bagged the Best Film award at this star-studded event.

Vicky Zahed is a storyteller who never fails to surprise the audience with his unconventional twists. "Redrum" is no different. The Chorki mystery thriller revolves around the murder of a famous musician named Shohel. The victim's childhood friend, detective Rashed, takes charge of the investigation, which includes Neela, Shohel's wife, as the prime suspect. As the detective dives into the past, unsetting events start to unravel, and we learn that a lie is nothing but a badly expressed truth.

Afran Nisho, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Azizul Hakim, Manoj Pramanik, Sallha Khanam Nadia, and Nasir Uddin Khan played key roles in the series.
