Virginia Patton, the actress of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’, no more
Virginia Patton Moss, the final surviving adult cast member of the iconic movie "It's a Wonderful Life" passed away at the age of 97 on Thursday.
The veteran artiste's death was confirmed by Karolyn Grimes, who worked as a child artiste in Frank Capra's classic movie.
"We have another angel! Virginia Patton Moss. She was 97 years old," Grimes wrote. "She is now with her beloved Cruse. She will be missed!" the post read.
Virginia made her movie debut with the Warner Bros film "Thank Your Lucky Stars (1943)", and was also featured in "Janie" (1944), "Hollywood Canteen" (1944), "The Horn Blows at Midnight" (1945), and "Black Eagle". Her last appearance on the silver screen was in the 1949 comedy film "The Lucky Stiff".
Virginia married her husband, Cruse W Moss, in 1949. Together, the couple enjoyed a wonderful conjugal life for 69 years until Cruse passed away in 2018. The actress is survived by her three children.
