Why is Parno Mittrah in Dhaka?
Tollywood actress Parno Mitra was previously featured in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's film, "Doob". The movie also starred Irrfan Khan, and Nusrat Imrose Tisha, among others.
The "Ronjona Ami Ar Ashbona" famed actress has now arrived in Dhaka for the shooting of the upcoming film, "Sunetra Sundaram"—which is taking place at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). According to reports, shooting for her parts will be completed today, at the venue's first floor.
"Sunetra Sundaram" has been directed by Indian filmmaker, Shiv Ram Sharma. The film also stars Bangladeshi artistes like Farzana Chumki and Sallha Khanam Nadia.
Earlier this year, on March 23, filming of "Sunetra Sundaram" began in Kolkata. The film revolves around three women, who work together. These women begin a movement to ensure hygienic and clean toilets in trains, as they have to spend long hours on public transportation.
Parno Mitra will also be seen sharing the screen with Mosharraf Karim, in the upcoming project "Bildakini". In January, Parno also participated in the shooting for the film in Naogaon.
"Bildakini" is based on a novel of the same name, written by Nuruddin Jahangir. Directed by Fazlul Kabir Tuhin, the film has received a government-grant.
