‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ exceeds first day box office expectation

Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal starrer film "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" hit the theatres on Friday.  Exceeding everyone's expectations, the comedy film enjoyed a marvelous Box Office opening, collecting over Rs 5.49 crore net on its first day.

According to media outlets, "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" adopted the 'buy one get one free' strategy on their ticket sales at the cinema halls which turned out quite well for the film.

Sharing the film's first day results, Film Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' takes off on Day 1… Silences naysayers and pessimists, who had predicted [below] Rs 2 cr start… Got a boost due to Buy-1-Get-1 free ticket offer + affordable ticket pricing, which has given its biz the required push… Fri Rs 5.49 cr."

The film analyst also added that "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" is likely to keep up its momentum and improve in the coming weekend. The film features the story of a happily married couple Kapil and Somya, who suddenly decide to get a divorce. However, when their families learn about this, the decision leads the couple through a bunch of hilarious incidents.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also features Srishti Rindani, Inaamulhaq, and Neeraj Sood, among others.
