Jalal Ahmed appointed new BERC chairman

The government has appointed Jalal Ahmed as new chairman to Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).
A circular, signed by energy division secretary Nurul Alam, today said that Jalal has been appointed for the next three years.

Former BERC chairman Nurul Amin resigned on August 20 facing protests from his office staff.
