Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today said the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will remain unchanged in January.

The retail price of a 12 kilogramme LPG cylinder will stay at Tk 1,455, the same as in November and December.

However, the LPG price per kg has been slightly reduced to Tk 121.19 from Tk 121.25.

The prices of other LPG cylinders, ranging from 5.5kg to 45kg, will change in proportion to the LPG price per kg.

Additionally, the price of auto gas (LPG used for motor vehicles) will be reduced at Tk 66.78 per litre for January from Tk 66.81 per litre last month.
