Nights to become more chilly: Met office
A mild cold wave is sweeping over parts of the country with a forecast of a slight fall in temperatures in the night.
The chilling weather already engulfed Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga districts and it may spread, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in its latest forecast this morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over, it said.
Dhaka recorded a temperature of 16.2 degrees Celsius at its lowest, while the lowest of 10.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajarhat in Rangpur division, according to the Met office yesterday.
