Lowest temperature recorded today at 8.8 degrees in Tetulia
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today recorded the country's lowest temperature at 8.8 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh's Tetulia.
Besides, Dhaka's minimum temperature this morning was 17 degrees Celsius.
In its latest weather bulletin this morning, BMD said in next 24 hours starting from 9:00am today, night and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
During the period, light to moderate fog may occur in different areas over the country during midnight till morning with weather to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky.
Wind direction and speed at Dhaka will be north-northwesterly at eight to 12 kilometres per hour.
Meanwhile, a low pressure area over central parts of south Bay of Bengal and adjoining area persists, BMD said.
