From China with love

A special flight from China carrying medical equipment to help combat the spread of coronavirus landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this afternoon.

SN Wahidur Rahman, deputy director of the airport, said that the flight landed around 4:23pm.

Its cargo includes 10,000 testing kits and 10,000 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for doctors and medical staff, Captain AHM Touhidul Ahsan, director of the airport, confirmed to The Daily Star.

The medical equipment was handed over to the respective officials of the government.
