PM's gifts for Indian leaders
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has brought with her a bunch of gifts for the Indian leaders, including the president and the prime minister.
Hasina brought a panjabi and a pair of silk pyjamas, artworks, a dinner set, a leather bag set, 4kg kalojam and rosgolla, 2kg sandesh, 20kg hilsa and 2kg yogurt for Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.
There was also a silk sari as gift for the president's daughter, said foreign ministry sources.
The PM would give Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari a dinner set, a leather bag, 2kg rosgolla and kalojam and 1kg sandesh.
For her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, Hasina brought a leather office bag set, 4kg kalojam and rosgolla, 2kg sandesh and 4kg yogurt.
She is to gift a Rajshahi silk sari to the Indian PM's mother.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj would get a Rajshahi silk sari, a tea set, 2kg rosgolla and kalojam, 1kg sandesh and 2kg yogurt from the Bangladesh PM as gift.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would receive a Benarasi sari, 2kg rosgolla and kalojam, 1kg sandesh and 2kg yogurt from Hasina.
A silver boat each for Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, State Minister for External Affairs Vijay Kumar Singh and State Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Babul Supriyo is on the gift list.
The PM is now on a four-day official visit to India.
