At least 94 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The current positivity rate is 7.74 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.22 percent.

Meanwhile, with the new infections, the total number of cases rose to 20,40,212, added the release.

No Covid-19 deaths have been reported during the period.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,451 and the death rate is 1.44 percent.

A total of 1,214 samples were tested across the country during this period.

At least 60 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 20,06,570 and the recovery rate at 98.35 percent, added the release.
