No Covid-19 death was reported in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in the country remains at 29,441 and the mortality rate is 1.45 percent.

At least 17 new cases were reported in this 24-hour, pushing the country's total cases to 20,37,433, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.58 percent while the total positivity rate is 13.38 percent, said the release.

A total of 3,134 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 194 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,90,761 and the recovery rate is 97.71 percent, added the release.
