US provides 15 lakh Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines for Bangladeshi children
The United States has provided another 15 lakh doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine to help Bangladesh vaccinate children between ages 5-11.
The United States has provided 15 lakh pediatric doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccines to Bangladesh under the Covax facility to help expand vaccination coverage to protect children ages 5-11 for the very first time.
This delivery marks the second shipment of US-provided vaccines for young children this week and brings the total number of all US vaccine provided to over 7.5 crore doses, according to a press release of the US Embassy in Dhaka.
More than two-thirds of all international Covid-19 vaccines provided to Bangladesh have come from the United States, it said.
