Dengue death toll crosses 500-mark

At least seven died of dengue in the last 24 hours while 629 patients were hospitalised till this morning.

Of the deaths, four deaths were reported from Dhaka city, two from Khulna division, and one each from Dhaka and Barishal divisions.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, with the new deaths and cases, the death toll rose to 504 while the total number of cases rose to 93,683.

Currently, 2,559 dengue patients are undergoing treatment.

A total of 90,622 patients have been released till today.
