The Liberation War Museum, located in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar of Dhaka, is a must-visit museum for children and adults alike. The museum is dedicated to the country's struggle for independence in 1971 and features exhibits that showcase the events and people that shaped this historical period.

Taka Museum

Taka Museum was launched as a currency museum on the third floor of Bangladesh Bank's main headquarters in Motijheel in 2009. However, this place was only available to some. In 2012, the initiative was taken to construct a full-fledged currency museum equipped with current digital capabilities, technology, architecture, and art to preserve the rich history and traditions of our currency in a proper manner.

This currency museum was later renamed Taka Museum and is an excellent place for children to explore Bangladeshi currency's history and evolution.

National Museum of Science and Technology

If your child is interested in science, then the National Museum of Science and Technology in Dhaka is their perfect destination. With various activities, this place allows children to learn about chemistry, physics, and many other aspects of science in a fun and engaging way.

The planetarium in the museum gives the visitors a close look into our planet and solar system. Apart from its permanent displays, the museum hosts popular science seminars, scientific film screenings, and a yearly children's science festival.

Bangabandhu Military Museum

Bangabandhu Military Museum is located right next to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre in Dhaka's Bijoy Sarani. The history of the Bangladesh army, its traditions, success stories, and numerous weaponry are all on display in the museum.

The ground floor is a gallery of Bangladesh's history, the second floor houses the stories of the Bangladesh Army, the third floor is dedicated to Bangladesh Air Force, the fourth floor is the UN Peacekeeping Gallery, and the Bangladesh Navy Gallery is located in the basement of the building.

Within the museum complex, a separate museum called "Toshakhana Jadughor" also displays presents and recognitions received by the country's significant personnel.
