Bear Grylls is now 'against vegetables' and mostly eats meat, has revealed the adrenaline junkie.

Once a strong advocate for the vegan lifestyle, Bear Grylls revealed that he longer supports the lifestyle he once led religiously. The bravest man on television revealed in a recent interview that he is actively 'against' eating nuts, grains, wheat and vegetables after they negatively impacted his health.

The face of the Man vs Wild show, Edward Michael Grylls swapped out his 'raw vegan juice and vegetable' diet for a carnivorous one after facing and recovering from coronavirus a few years back.

Grylls stated, "Super against nuts, grains, wheat, and vegetables. They affected my health negatively. I was a massive advocate of the vegan lifestyle for years and wrote a book on it, but my health tanked on it."

He went on to say, "When I got COVID a couple of years ago, I doubled down on what I thought was healthy – raw juice, vegetables – and got mega-sore kidneys, almost kidney stones. The more research I've done, I've noticed raw vegetables are really not good for you."

Now, the British adventurer has distanced himself from an all-vegan diet and replaced it with animal-derived sources of protein and fat. This means incorporating quality grass-fed steak and liver. "My lunch is meat, eggs and dairy, a lot of butter, and fruit. I started to get strong again," Grylls concludes.

The man of adventure also said that he's done a ton of detailed research himself, and came to a realisation that his new diet works better for him.
