Gossip king Karan Johar called out for leaking celebrity relationship details without consent

In the world of gossip, its common knowledge that Karan Johar is the usual suspect when it comes to spilling the beans on personal details about Bollywood celebrities and their dating life on his masala chat show, Koffee With Karan 7. Karan took his guests by surprise or shock by confirming the rumours of their relationships; from Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan's relationship to Ananya Panday-Ishaan Khatter's breakup, Karan spilt it all.

The netizens went livid and accused him of letting the cat out of the bag on private information about celebrities publicly on his show without their consent.

Responding to it, the filmmaker said, "I'm only speaking the truth and everyone is okay with it since everyone knows about it." The gossip king also went on to say, "But everyone knows about these relationships. I am not making anything up, everyone has seen them together. What is true is true and I suppose everyone is okay with it. I know people think it's some kind of big revelation, everybody knows about everyone's personal lives and they are okay with putting it out."

On Karan's show, he recently revealed and confirmed that Sara dated Kartik and then parted ways. He also spoke about Ananya breaking up with Ishaan and now having a crush on Aditya Roy Kapoor. The director and producer also revealed that Sara and Janhvi Kapoor dated siblings in the past.

The latest promo of the show, Karan asked Sonam Kapoor about Arjun Kapoor, "How many friends of yours has he slept with?" To which, Sonam responded by also mentioning her real-brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, "I am not discussing it, between my brothers there's no one left"

Karan burst out laughing and said, "What kind of brothers do you have?" To which, Arjun added to his question, "What kind of sister are you, what are you saying about us? Why does it feel that I have been called on this show to be trolled by Sonam."
