Paris Fashion Week, Bella Hadid and a spray-painted white Coperni dress
It would not be Paris Fashion Week without a special queue that made you stand up from your seats. This year's fashion week was no different, with Coperni SS23 concluding the show with a 'spray-painted dress' on Bella Hadid, who walked the ramp in the dress that was literally sprayed on her.
Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant are the brains behind the ultra-modern Parisian label, Coperni. For the brand's Spring 2023 collection, the designer duo, pushed the boundaries of fashion technology, with their spray-on white dress.
Held in the Salle des Textiles at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, the show presented an assortment of notable sartorial moments. However, the finale took over all the accolade, with a performance that centered around supermodel, Bella Hadid.
Bella appeared on stage in nothing but an underwear, while a team of specialists – led by Dr Manel Torres, managing director of Fabrican Ltd. and inventor of the spray-on fabric — placing the perfect slip-on white dress on the supermodel.
With the magnificent work of art, the designer duo and the inventor managed to break the Internet for the day, because tweets were going out like wildfire and TikToks, covering the event became viral within a second. Here's to more innovation in the runway shows of the future.
