Daraz launches women's couture boutique Joconde

Daraz, the leading online shopping platform in Bangladesh, is set to add another premium label to its collection as it launches Joconde, a women's couture boutique and the first professional atelier in Dhaka. Joconde is well known for its innovative designs and chic styles paired with simplicity and well complemented by its motto, 'Love me wear me'.

Daraz will be featuring Joconde's Prêt-à-Porter and Couture line, showcasing a 'Capsule Collection' every week. The label is launching its exclusive brand shop on Daraz called Shop-in-Shop which will extend its visibility and maintain its theme. 

"We are pleased to have Joconde as our newest client under the fashion umbrella," said Daraz Asia Co-CEO Jonathan Doerr.  "As the company continues to expand its services, our fashion practices will position Joconde as a leader among innovative couture boutiques." 

"Joconde is a trendsetter; we are not following fashion but creating it. I am creating dresses according to my personal taste," says founder and designer of Joconde, Svetlana Dubovska. "Inspiration is everywhere around us, in colours of nature, music and in art. We just need to have an open mind and enjoy the moment. We also offer services on request where we create unique and exclusive wedding dresses in prices ranging from two to eight hundred thousand taka, depending on materials used and styles implemented. The launch of the high-end women's fashion label comes aptly at a time when Daraz is coming under increasing demand to offer not only premium and luxury fashion choices for high profile events and cocktail parties but also cater to the working woman with smart and utilitarian business casuals and office-wear.
