HARAPPA the new era of terracotta

HARAPPA is the largest manufacturer of studio terracotta pottery and ceramics in the country. Its journey began in 2006 with producing export quality, studio pottery and home products with the aim to preserve the dying tradition of terracotta in the country. It did so by training traditional potters with modern technology and making them aware about current market demands. Each of Harappa's products are handmade and designed uniquely to portray a fusion of heritage and modernity.

Harappa's vast array of products consists of vases, wall panels, tiles, functional tableware, fountains, garden planters, light shades, crockery and a myriad of décor items. Many of the products are created through experimentation of different styles and mediums such as brass, wrought iron, cane, wood and clay. Prices of products range from Tk 50-2500 for tableware pieces, Tk 150-5000 for garden planters, and Tk 30-25,000 for interior décor items.

Terracotta products are no longer limited to traditional folk art, but rather contemporary expressions are used to revive this rich culture of clay. Harappa's products are sold worldwide and domestically its clientele include Grameenphone, Bangla Academy, Banglar Mela and others.

Visit their showroom at Decorium, Gulshan 2 DCC Market. Or contact Afsar Ahmed, Sales & Marketing Director of Harappa through mobile phone, 01911310989 for orders.
