Relaxing at Radisson
Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden recently began an exclusive spa promotion programme where individuals or couples can relax and receive massages - complete with specialised tea, healthy drinks and a 3-course lunch meal. While the tea helps detox the body from within, the vegan meal keeps the body full. The experience makes you alert and fresh, yet relaxed. The menu has been created especially for the spa programme by Jed Archdeacon, Executive Chef at Radisson Blu.
There is 1.5-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, and as well as day-long Spa Cuisine Package- no less than an exotic get-away for individuals looking for a break from the chaotic Dhaka traffic and the daily stress accumulated both at home and work. Even though the aim here is to attract mostly the guests staying at the hotel, the General Manager of Radisson Blu Dhaka, Christoph Voegeli says that many non-guests are actually signing up for this 6-hour long programme. "In the last few weeks or so, we have had more non-guests coming in to try out this programme, rather than guests staying at the hotel," he says. "And we are very happy that we are able to cater to those who make an extra effort to take care of the body, mind and soul - the three elements that constitute the special spa programme."
This is all about a lifestyle change, says Md Sharfuddin Newaz, Assistant Director of Sales. "Despite all the chaos, traffic and an unhealthy lifestyle that many of us tend to keep in Dhaka today, there are some who would like to take a step towards a healthier and better lifestyle," he says. "This programme is for those who want to make this change happen."
The programme starts with a special tea, followed by a full body massage and a body scrub. After a shower and a Jacuzzi, a 3-course lunch is served, followed by a foot massage and a facial. The programme ends with yet another refreshing cup of tea.
