Traditionally Tunic
Fashion and comfort are what we support in our daily wears. Kurti has long been a beloved casual outfit among ladies. It's the exquisite mix of traditional and western. And with that, tunic kurti has made a name for itself because of how comfortable it is to wear and how sophisticated it looks.
The specialty of a tunic is just how soft it is. It's comfortable, airy and perfect for long-wear, especially for women who work, or girls who have classes all day long. It's casual, yet classy. Among the many tunic options such as georgette, chiffon, cotton, etc. silk tunics are the most supreme; the reason being they look and feel more luxurious while providing the same ease.
Tunic kurti comes in a number of designs and styles. Some are very 'deshi,' and represent the beautiful essence of Bengali fashion. Aarong's Taaga is an example of a store that carries such styles. Indian designs are also very popular and widely available in our local malls, but Pakistani fashion has definitely proved to be the most admired as of late. They're usually simple with a hint of eccentricity and comes in soft, sober tones.
Agha Noor kurtis are by far the most adored among those of all other Pakistani labels. Vogue is an example of a local store that carries similar designs in a more affordable price range.
Tunics take little to no effort to style. Simplicity should be the focus when it comes to styling a tunic. Pair them with pants, leggings or shalwar of choice that, of course, complements well.
Accessorise — a chic pair of earrings, a nice watch and a matching pair of shoes — a trio that never fails. You can also add some cute rings or a simple neckpiece. Everything but overdone is all you need to look stunningly casual in a tunic kurti.
What makes Tunic look even better?
Twin with your other half! Be a traditionally fashionable couple; let your man match his panjabi with your tunic. Tunics and panjabis enhance each other and look amazing together. Match the material or the design, the colour scheme or even contrast; whatever you do — the two of you will be stealing the thunder!
