Bangladeshi fashion icons in Vogue India

Jannatul Ferdous Peya, Humaira Khan, Sadia Moyeen - all familiar names of the Bangladeshi Fashion scene, have recently been featured in Vogue India, the South Asian edition of the iconic fashion and lifestyle magazine.

The showstopper set the stage alight!

Jannatul Ferdous Peya has come a long way since 2007, when she was crowned as Miss Bangladesh. Since her entry into the world of glamour, Peya has ventured into ramp modelling and acting, and earned accolades for her work in the major thriller 'Chorabali'. She is a recognised face on the ramps and has recently made her way into the international arena. About her recent success Peya remains humble, reiterating that it is every model's dream to be on the cover page of Vogue India.

The fashion designer, bringing style back!

Humaira Khan, a self-assured and talented fashion designer of Bangladesh, has been a veteran promoter of 'deshi' products all her professional life. She has taken the next step by placing the finest cotton Muslin and Jamdani editions to a multinational travelling jacket.

The travelling jacket feature on Vogue India was particularly interesting, where seven SAARC countries put their inputs, where Khan infused a bit of Bangladesh too.

Humaira Khan has been relentlessly working towards promoting Bangladesh in the international arena and with this opportunity her wishes have taken another step in the positive direction.

The make-up artist, making waves with colour palettes

Sadia Moyeen, a reputed name in the make-up artistry industry of Bangladesh, presented an elegant and stunning style for 'deshi' brides on the global platform in her interpretation of the traditional Bangladeshi bride. For the Vogue India edition, she defined a few favourite looks, skin care routine and technique for the readers.

This is definitely a pride for Bangladesh, especially Star Lifestyle, for observing some of our favourites being featured internationally.
