Meena Bazar: for the welfare of women

Every day, Meena Bazar offers the freshest products for its customers to bring freshness in their lives and a smile of satisfaction. To commemorate International Women's Day, Meena Bazar took an initiative to bring smiles and happiness for the underprivileged women.

To ensure a better future for young women attending schools, belonging to the underprivileged section of the society, learning materials were handed over to 20 students of a primary school that was established in 2009 -2010 near Mohammadpur Bus Stand. Meena Bazar always stands by the side of any underprivileged girl to ensure a better tomorrow.

In 2010, an old home was established in Uttarkhan of Dhaka. It is home to more than 50 underprivileged elderly women, who have no place else to go. Meena Bazar tried to bring happiness for a day in their lives, who now mostly spend their time in remorse and memories of yesteryears. Meena Bazar arranged special food for such women, a get-together programme and distributed many essential commodities.

This is not the end of such initiatives by Meena Bazar on the occasion of International Women's Day. Meena Bazar vows to stand by the side of the underprivileged women of today and tomorrow with a helping hand in their times of need.
