We can't seem to get enough of the show, where richest of the rich in Asia get together and present their unique lifestyle to us. Bridgerton
If you have always had an affinity towards the grand lifestyle of the 19th century and love reading Austen and her portrayal of romance — how men and women had to find their soulmate in the ballroom, then this is something you just cannot miss!
Based on Julia Quinn's eight-part romance novel, the Bridgerton series is an apt adaptation. Describing the love life of the Bridgerton siblings, each series highlights the story of one sibling. With just season one over, everyone is now eagerly waiting for the second to release soon. Set in the Regency era of James III and Queen Charlotte, the protagonists of the storyline are imaginary, but very much pertinent to their times.

HOICHOI
Taqdeer
Enough English shows already! It's time for something that is close to your heart. Yes, of course that means Bengali dramas. And Chanchal Chowdhury's latest, directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki and co-created by Saleh Sobhan Auneem, seems to be killing it over all platforms.
People who did not have a subscription to Hoichoi are getting it now. And if you aren't one of them, perhaps this show can help change that
With an amazing backdrop of a freezer van driver discovering the dead body of a journalist, and a subtle connection to a missing memory card; Taqdeer is certainly the mystery, intense drama-thriller that we were all looking for during the pandemic. To add to the excitement, the web-original is completely Bangladeshi based, with location, production and direction all taking place in our home country.

The Boys
Based on the comic book series of the same name, The Boys is a superhero web series that shows the demi-gods in a different light. We all love a good superhero show, we know that at the end, the heroes will fight against evil and win. But what happens when they go rogue and start abusing their powers and manipulate the powerless?
The web series is about a bunch of misfit humans, who set out to expose the truth about the corporation that manages these superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. A must-watch for all, not just superhero action fans.
Our favourite quotes: Sometimes it is hard being superior to every single other person on the planet.
The Family Man
An intense Hindi action-thriller following the story of one Srikant Tiwari, who works for the National Intelligence Agency of India.
Tiwari is a married man with two children, whose wife and kids are unaware of his risky job of espionage. In the first season, Tiwari deals with the investigation of a potential terrorist attack and also shows how he manages his unsettled family life on the side. Viewers will be able to relate to the stories because they have been inspired by real life stories cut out from the newspaper.
If you have nothing much to do and looking for something that will grip your attention from beginning to end, this is the show for you.
In case you do not understand Hindi, subtitle options are available for the series. The success of the first season has inspired showrunners to extend the series to a second season, due to be out very soon. But don't wait for that, and start binging on the first season already!

Kaagaz
In the mood for a show where you don't have to think too much, and just binge-watch and laugh a little over intelligent satirical comedy? Then Kaagaz, a Pankaj Tripathi starrer and directed by Satish Kaushik, is your type of drama. The premise is very interesting, where a common man, after falsely being declared dead on government records, has to prove his existence.
The most interesting part of the movie is that it is based on the real-life story of a farmer in India, who went through an almost similar ordeal to prove his existence.
