‘Thumri’ took place on July 19, celebrating the Rabindra-Nazrul anniversary with music at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum. At the event, noted singers Kamal Ahmed, Yasmin Mushtari, Fahim Hossain Chowdhury and Afsana Runa performed, fulfilling the musical evening with wonderous melody. Singer Taylor Swift was recently named the world’s highest-paid entertainer, closely followed by Kylie Jenner and Kanye West. The 29-year-old pop star, hot off her 2018 ‘Reputation’ tour and album, earned an estimated $185 million to take the No 1 spot.
