The closing ceremony of National Theatre Festival 2016, with the theme, "This land embraces humanity not terrorism" was held at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA). Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, SPJ President Golam Kuddus and Professor Abdus Selim attended the ceremony as guests. On the closing day, Natyakendra staged “Bondhuk Judhhdo” and “Gadhar Haat,” Barisal-based theatre troupe Shobdaboli Group Theatre put up “Shaheb Chander Eid Bhojon” and Bohubochon staged “Devi.”
