Torrential rains over the last few days gave the Kirtankhola river strong currents, leading to erosion of its bank along Charbaria area in Barisal sadar upazila. Already 25-30 houses disappeared along with a 0.5km stretch of the 5.5km road connecting Taltoli and Lamchhari.
