After a hard day's work a group of floating people in a deep slumber on the adjacent street of the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital yesterday morning, oblivious to the fact that the street has been reopened at 6:00am for vehicular movements, posing serious risk to their already insecure lives. An assailant who attempted to shoot prominent Turkish journalist Can Dundar, the editor-in-chief of the opposition Cumhuriyet newspaper, is caught by Dilek Dundar, wife of Can Dundar, and an unidentified man outside a courthouse in Istanbul, Turkey, yesterday. The assailant shouted "traitor" before firing at least three shots in quick succession at Dundar, who faces charges of revealing state secrets, the Reuters witness said.
