IT'S GUAVA TIME… Fresh guavas are on display at a floating wholesale market at Kuriana village in Nesarabad upazila of Pirojpur on Friday. Local guava growers are quite happy at the moment as a maund (nearly 40 kilograms) of guava is being sold at Tk 400. The fruit will be available at the market for another two to three months. Every day around 9:00am, farmers start gathering at the market with boats loaded with their produce and await prospective buyers from all over the country.
